Junior Activities & Clubs
4-8 yrs: 5-6pm
8-16 yrs: 6-7pm
As well as being great fun, trampolining lessons are great for building fitness and developing new skills.
This course runs half-termly with each 6 weeks half term costing £30, the first to be paid at the time of booking to secure your child’s place. This will continue for participants, charged half termly (or in blocks that work out to be £5 per session, working around Bank Holidays and school holidays).
Spaces are limited to 8 per class, allocated on a first come, first served basis. We do also operate a waiting list system, so if you are interested, please give us a call on 01749 346644.
Junior Squash Coaching
Wednesdays, 4pm-5pm, £3 per session
Wear out their brains as well as their bodies! For the energetic primary age child – come and learn with our highly qualified coach, improve reactions, learn the basics of the rules of the game – and have lots of fun! Shepton Mallet Leisure Centre is the only sports facility in the area that has retained its Squash Courts – come and see how far you can go in this highly competitive (and highly addictive!) sport.
Football Training (age 4-12)
Future Football Development offer football training at Shepton Mallet Leisure Centre.
Future Football Development coaches children of all abilities the necessary skills to play football in a fun and engaging environment. Whether a new or experienced player, children are given the chance to develop their skills to a higher standard with professional coaching sessions by the academy coaches.

Shepton Mallet Tae Kwon Do
Thursdays 6pm-7pm, all grades
Shepton Mallet Tae Kwon Do is coached by Nicky Turner, 6th Dan Black Belt, and inspirational coach. Tae Kwon Do is an ancient form of unarmed combat and self defence, involving skilled application of punches, kicks and blocks, for rapid destruction of an opponent. It also instils spiritual discipline, and is built around the tenants of courtesy, integrity, perserverance, self control and indomitable spirit.

Fridays 4:00pm-5:30pm (term time, occasionally during school holidays)
Shepton Get Your Skates On! bring their active, fun and very popular sessions to Shepton Leisure Centre each Friday. Come along and learn to skate with trained volunteers, or improve your skills – and have loads of fun with your friends! Bring your own skates (not inline skates) or hire them for a small fee.
